Pros

Benefits are good and Korea internal co workers are good

Cons

Too many work and so many alignment for alignment. Many customers to be aligned. BU, Internal, customer outside.

Pros

As student it is good opportunity to work in large company. My team leaders take in account that I'm a student and I have flexible timetable, so that you can combine study and work. Applied Materials is multi-disciplinary company, so if you work as mechanical engineer you will work in a parallel with software, electrical, application and other engineers.

Cons

Semiconductors field is closed market, so if you choose to switch a job to another company, most likely it will be competitors, clients or providers. In other fields this company name say absolutely nothing, despite the fact that it has 14000 employees.

Pros

Good benefits & work/life balance options - generous travel allowance; free breakfast; often held leisure activities for employees to choose from

Cons

At Applied Materials Taiwan, majority of managers are very senior or have been with Applied for a long period of time, promotion not so easy and often stuck in past mindset.
