5 days work from office :(

Aptiv has absolutely the worst and the most toxic working culture ever. The management doesn't know how to run projects or how to set timelines, resulting the work environment to become an epitome of micromanagement. Every project Aptiv has, would be in escalated state by the customers, forcing the engineers to work day and night. The managers are inefficient and incompetent. Almost half of them are not from the Automotive background (or development background for development team), which means they cannot understand what is happening in the project. This would lead to managers relying on someone else to explain things to them which to obviously lead to them playing favourites in the team. You can also expect there to be a boys club in this company. Even the feedback surveys filled for manager's feedback are influenced and controlled by them, so that they can continue to do whatever they want. Next, when we come to the work quality, that too is pathetic. There are no expert level people present in this company, and Aptiv managament just keep hiring interns and freshers as if they can fill in the expert engineer shoes. There is no clarity, no direction on how to proceed with work in this company. It's an absolute chaos, the planning is pathetic as well. Most managers/senior technical people who actually knew their job have now quit the company. Hikes are handed out based on personal bias as well so that aspect is a no good either. I have literally had a nightmarish experience while working in Aptiv. I would never ever recommend Aptiv as workplace to anyone.
