We set clear performance expectations and provide direct, ongoing feedback — including coaching and formal improvement plans when needed. We host honest conversations about where a person stands which can trigger feelings of insecurity; that is not to say that there is not job insecurity at the organization. We understand that honest feedback can be difficult to receive, but want to be clear that accountability is not a threat. It's how we support our people in meeting the expectations of their roles. I also want to address your comments about HR directly. Our People team does not operate as a rubber stamp — we take employee feedback seriously, and reviews like this are used as meaningful data points to coach and evolve our people managers. We work with leaders to address concerns that are brought to us and build an environment where people can thrive and do their best work. To that end, we'd genuinely encourage you to reach out to our HR Business Partner team with specific examples of what you experienced.
