      Pros

      - there are some brilliant people working at Arcadis, but quality of people is not consistent throughout the company - good professional development opportunities for young professionals - generous pension scheme and private healthcare - strong internal focus on improving diversity and inclusion (but some of these conversations are shallow and more focused on hitting numbers) - possibility to work on iconic projects - possibilities to transfer to other countries world wide or tap into global programmes (techstars, expedition DNA, etc).

      Cons

      - pressure throughout the business on billability and utilisation that is endemic to the wider consultancy industry - low margin business with little to reinvest in innovation. - - UK digital transformation efforts are being led by non-technology people so blind leading the blind - Arcadis will have difficulty reinventing itself - not the place to go if you want to future proof your career - sustainability is a core corporate value but we dont walk the talk /differentiate ourselves from competitors in this area.
