      Pros

      Decent pay and OK overtime, flexible hours, great technical resource structure and mentoring, technically challenging projects, good in-house training program, good health insurance, weirdly generous spot bonus program.

      Cons

      - Ruthless cost-cutting management structure which is low road and rewards quantity over quality both in project and personnel. - Favoritism is rampant and highly encouraged and has nothing to do with talent (worse in some offices). - Corporate management via pre-recorded video. - Tuition reimbursement policy is a Joke. - Very high turnover environment

      Pros

      Excellent projects. The company really attempts to recruit high end talent and offer innovative approaches to remediation science and engineering. Can be easy to work in many locations in the US and abroad, and persue professional interests. Company encourages and supports professional development and continuing education and training. Easy to relocate between offices or work from an employee desired home base.

      Cons

      Like many large concerns, the goals for employee support for family and professional development are often overstated. A rosy picture is subsumed by the bottom line of very high billability requirements.

      Pros

      Good reputation. Some staff are highly qualified and are indeed leaders in the field which provides opportunity (does not guarantee) to develop. Clients regard Arcadis as a good company. Will enhance your resume.

      Cons

      In reality just another major engineering conglomerate to whom billable hours is the whole bailywick and who bow to the vagaries of the stock market. Large publically owned engineering conglomerates like Arcadis have confused and compromised professionalism with commercial objectives when in fact both can be achieved.
