      Pros

      Flexible work schedule (hours, remote work) Ability to choose your project work, to an extent Strong commitment to safety Some project teams are great fits, fun to work with and learn from 20+ days of PTO

      Cons

      The pay is severely lacking, with minimal bonuses Management doesn’t really listen if you’re interested in different project work Work for junior staff can be pretty dull, with a lot of hours spent making tables, inputting data, and marking up PDFs Not really an issue during COVID, but the culture at this office can be quite toxic and if you don’t drink or mesh with the main “clique”, you won’t fit in

      Pros

      Benefits are good. If you forgot to bring a lunch then you’re covered on most days.

      Cons

      Atmosphere is clique based. What group do you fit in best with when getting work. Who’s rear end do you kiss the most to guarantee work. Networking with a large group of chiefs to the Indians for the work to be done. Bringing social agendas into the workplace, while trying to be corporate, and sterile. Supervisors who just try to keep an email chain on you rather than help you find work.
