Pros

- Great Work/Life balance (we leave early on Fridays! Office almost always empty by 5:30 pm) - Great work environment (everybody got along well) - Prestigious company to work for (largest steel company in the whole world) - Lots of communication from the organization - Vacant positions inside the company communicated to employees - Great HR and IT support - Competitive salaries

Cons

- Since steel and its raw materials are commodities at the end of the day, that made some parts of the job not as exciting as I expected (i.e., commodities compete with one another mainly on low costs, less room for innovation in value propositions especially in B2B commercial transactions).

There is a lack of clarity in the company's vision for technologies (specifically IT/OT) The Hierarchical structure is quite rigid and the management style and policies are outdated (sometimes feel like the 70's or 80's) - Lack of focus on strategic projects - tendency to go chasing several rabbits and end up executing poorly
