Pros

There is a nice combination of technical work and business focused work. There is operational work as well, and is in tandom with development work. Employees are friendly and some are ever ready to learn and take up challenges. Creates a good environment for people to take up challenges. Some people work really really hard here.

Nothing much, Overall a good organization with different kind of challenges for different people

Great learning in few teams although not good in all teams. Brand name of D e shaw and company which helps the company to grow it's business

Hectic work hour at times however it is not the same across all teams. Few of the teams have descent level of work

Work is average and boring. More operation work than development. Typical Service company work hours. Team politics exists. Not fully software company yet
