Pros

Great benefits and pay, but it feels more like a bribe since the split.

Cons

Absentee management lacks organization, an overall sense of despair. Every minor task is an ordeal.

Pros

Good benefits, decent PTO and sick-day policy. other benefits okay too.

Cons

This is for CoE team in Pittsburgh, where I worked onsite. Recruitment techniques and processes are terrible, absurd and outdated. Lack of value for employees: no respect and condescending managers. Everyone is overworked. High turnover in department, and managers spin information on why people leave. 19+ people gone in 2016, 5 people in 2017. No ownership of turnover and bad, bad, BAD culture. No retention and lack of vision from management Poor communication from "so called" leadership. emails go through several people, before getting to you! No advancement opportunities. Decisions on processes are made without recruiters present. no input from us. It's a real dictatorship. Management is abrupt and hostile. People have taken FMLA to get away from this team. Ridiculous metrics that don't add any value. MICROMANAGEMENT! Favoritism (some jobs were filled before being posted) no support from management.

Pros

The Arconic work force is very capable. Arconic team members are dedicated to making the company successful if the leadership would get out of the way.

Cons

The current leadership is unable to lead the culture change required for Arconic to realize its full potential. The CEO is focusing on things that do not sustain profitable growth. He is focused on keeping his job at the expense of cutting back on the activities that will help drive future growth.
