Great people and growth potential but management issues exist

Pros

The people who work here are great. The growth potential and inertia for the future of AREA15 is undeniable.

Cons

-Disconnect between the decision makers (salary) and the hourly employees. -No automatic promotions or growth, you have to actively fight for it. -Very departmentalized which leads to miscommunication/misinterpretation. -Some of the management roles are filled by people who look the part on paper but actually bring very little to the table.

-low hourly pay -long hours -rare managerial help, you better not expect any help from -don’t expect any raises any time soon -anything they promise you, unless it’s on paper, is just words

Pros

*Above-average management composed of people who genuinely care and believe in setting an example. *Coworkers who are a great group of eclectic individuals. *Shorter shifts, which can be good or bad. *Cashless at all venues. *Team break room which is a great hang out before your shift. *You get to try out all the attractions. *Inclusive and very welcoming to the LGBTQ community.

Cons

*Non-union. *Low wages. *No EDR; employee discounts on food are only 20%. *No guaranteed hours and you may get sent home before you'd like to leave. *No insurance or retirement perks that competing jobs under a union contract do offer. *Staff shortages require you to work much harder.
