Pros

As an (engineering) intern, you can be given a large amount of responsibility. This results in great hands-on manufacturing experience. Of course, this varies with your project. The specifics of the polyurethane manufacturing process results in lots of challenges, thus many opportunities to design and implement your custom solutions.

Cons

It is a small company so unfortunately that doesn't allow for much vertical movement with respect to engineering, sales, production etc. Does not affect the internship experience though.

Pros

Learned a lot about operations in a manufacturing setting As an intern the pay was great Very flexible Overall a great way to get 'real world' experience through an internship

Cons

Business is slow at certain points in the year and many people are laid off, some permanently Small business so getting a promotion is unlikely Lots of gossiping behind others backs

Pros

Used to have fun coworkers, but that ended a few years ago.

Cons

Everything. Stay far away. If you go to work and care in any way, this place will drive you insane.
