      Pros

      Great town (Tempe) located near a great city (Phoenix) with great weather. So many very different things to do within a day's drive. Cost of living is low, and ASU has a great relaxed atmosphere that takes care of their employees.

      Cons

      Working for any university has a con in that they have less money than industry employers. Summers can be very hot, and ASU is a HUGE university which makes things a little difficult to get done.

      not the best benefits package but then again they are the same as everywhere else

      You are around people in the same age class as you all of the time and it is a chill environment

      Cons

      Things come in waves, they are dead some times and booming in others. Dead times are extremely boring, and boom times are stressful.
