      Might look good on a resume.

      Cons

      The root of the issues at ASU are in the fact that there is non Human Resources. They do not respond appropriately or in a timely manner. I’m taking it it takes months for HR to respond to basic requests. There is no oversight or accountability of leadership and concerns are not addressed The pay is horribly low, there is no way to provide feedback or get support and everything is incredibly disorganized. Professors are given departments regardless of their skill or experience and it often goes very badly for those under them.

      Pros

      There's always something going on at ASU, especially on its Tempe campus. This gives marketing and communications personnel plenty to keep busy and engaged. The benefits are fantastic. For the most part, it's a positive work environment.

      Cons

      The pay is extremely low relative to the Phoenix job market. Parking cost me roughly $800 a year. Cost of living increases are hard to come by with all the constant budget cuts. Everyone hops around the university from job-to-job making it difficult to build off events, create postmortems, best practices, etc. and see true change year-over-year.
