Pros
ASU is massive which means you may meet a lot of people and there are opportunities to move to other departments, but growth within a single department can be a challenge. Additionally benefits are great and in my experience much more stable than tech.
Cons
After working remotely I had to come back to the office and get one day WFH which has been an adjustment. Additionally the pay is not great and I found in my application process I had to provide exact dates plus acknowledge every job I've had post-school to get the highest salary possible vs. other jobs where it is about the value you bring and not having to prove exact amount of experience.
