Pros

Benefits were nice and compensation was adequate, working on campus was actually quite beautiful and there were plenty of places to eat. Worked with a good team, and we endured our way through the incompetent decisions of management together.

Cons

Very little opportunity for career advancement, work life balance was non-existent, was often asked to run crunch for projects with deadlines that were constantly shifting.

Static and steady

Pros

Relatively easy to hop departments and work on different types of tasks. Flexible hours.

Cons

Very static. Parking is a nightmare and not paid for... also it seems that student workers are treated as nameless drones to push busy work on. Pay is somewhat lower than industry.
