1. Decent tech to work on 2. Decent benefits and pay

Cons

1. Sometimes felt a bit lost during onboarding as there was no clear plan or communication from the reporting manager. 2. Half the team works from the US (West Coast) so the time difference makes it very difficult to communicate, especially with your manager. 3. Late meetings sometimes (after 6 pm) 4. No real team bonding or communication due to being all remote. (This is a con for me but may not be for someone else)

Pros

There are so many great things about Arlo. There are a variety of interesting new projects/products from software to hardware, so there is never a dull day. Everyday I get to work with amazing engineers, product managers, marketers, and designers. With the company being so small, it feels more like a startup, resulting in leadership being accessible and open to ideas. This company is by far one of the most diverse workplaces I have been at, and I appreciate seeing so many POCs and women respected within the org. On top of that, benefits/total comp packages are great. Arlo is a space where I feel I can be challenged, able to share my ideas, and have my efforts recognized. Feedback is frequent and the openness to input supports my growth within the company in ways I have not experienced prior (compared to tradition hierarchical limitations). I am so thankful to be a part of such a great organization.

Cons

With it being so fast paced, it is sometimes hard determine how projects align to company initiatives.
