Pros

ARM is a decent place to work but also depend on current and future to growth team.

Cons

ARM in Austin, Tx staffing are the worst that we are experience in. Most of the recruiters are NON-experience with recruiting, but somehow they end up at ARM in Austin. Most of our referral candidates got called from ARM staffing and their feedback to me are not impressed at all to ARM recruiters from (asked stupid and non intelligent questions, missed appointment with candidate, but when on the phone seems like ARM staffing was driving during conversation as well as dog barking on background). Our referral not impress at ARM staffing of its current process.

Hello. I am saddened by your approach. Perhaps you spoke to your colleagues directly and did not get an adequate reply? We do have a number of avenues for you to raise these concerns. The recruiters we have on our team in Austin all have multiple years of prior professional recruiting experience. I am sorry to hear that a phone interview may have been missed or re-scheduled, or that a call may have been made while driving. Honestly, as I see the team working an average of 60 hours per week to keep up with our extraordinary growth, I am empathetic to the life-issues that interfere with a smooth process. But we do all want a better impression to our candidates. I am encouraged that through surveys received from over 200 candidates last year, 80% were either satisfied or completely satisfied with the recruiting process at ARM. Our goal is to get that to 90% or better in 2017, and I'd love it if you can help with that! I invite you to grab some time with me soon to discuss your ideas so we can partner effectively to continue shaping the extraordinary at ARM. I hope you are equally committed to that goal.

Pros

- Great enviroment and you will surely develop your skills at this company.

Cons

- Does not provide a competitive pay. - Team leads/managers are not trained in order to be qualified (thus micromanaging can occur)

Thanks for leaving a review, and it's good to see that you were able to develop your skills in a great work environment! As the company has grown rather quickly in the last few years, we acknowledge that we did not scale to provide more training opportunities for Team Leads and Managers to be more effective leaders. This has been addressed and we are actively improving the courses that our Talent and Development team has to offer Regarding pay, the base pay may not seem competitive, but when you factor in all the extra benefits such as the annual bonuses and former RSU program, the total rewards package is quite competitive. -Rick C. Pros

great people, optimistic company outlook, good compensation and benefits, flexible hybrid office attendance.

Cons

experience can vary from team to team. the closer you are to a physical chip, the more you will be working. software and IT tends to be neglected in favor of hardware.
