It’s exciting to hear your first months at Arm have given you both strong ownership and the chance to shape new opportunities. We deliberately push responsibility deep into teams because we believe skilled people thrive when trusted to make an impact. You’re right that as we grow into new markets and technologies, some processes are still evolving. That’s the nature of a fast-moving environment, and we’re focused on building clarity while keeping bureaucracy out of the way. Thank you for highlighting both the positives and where we can keep improving, and welcome again to Arm Austin.

Your reflections capture both the excitement and intensity of building at the leading edge of AI inside Arm. It’s great to hear you value the expertise in Seattle, the culture of ownership and the close connection with leadership—those are exactly the conditions we want to create for extraordinary teams. You’re also right that rapid growth can mean process and structure take time to catch up, and timezone challenges are real in a global organisation. We’re working on clearer alignment and empowering local hubs like Seattle so teams can move fast and execute at scale. Thanks for sharing thoughtful feedback.

Pros

Interesting work, People oreintated, Lastest tech, WLB is great, Promote self improvement and learning. Challenging but not stressful. Very friendly and inclusive. Above average TC.

Cons

None really, although coming from more fast paced startup orientated companies, pace is slower which is a bit of culture shock. Not really con, just different.

It’s fantastic to hear Arm has quickly become the best place you’ve worked and that you’re finding the balance of interesting challenges, supportive colleagues and opportunities for growth. We want people to thrive here, both through access to cutting-edge technology and the space to keep learning and developing. The pace can feel different compared to startups, and we know it takes adjustment—what’s important is striking the right balance so teams can deliver breakthrough work without unnecessary stress. Thank you for sharing such positive feedback, and we’re glad you’ve chosen to bring your experience to Cambridge.
