Pros

The people here are extremely kind and friendly. They have a great rotational grad program that allows new hires to move around the company and see were they belong most. Great opportunity for growth.

Cons

Their is not too many bad things to say about ARM. You can feel the pressure come on some of the groups as the demand for their products rise, however they are hiring more and more people to help with this!

Thanks for leaving a review! We hope to see you back as a graduate engineer after you've finished your studies. Like you said, some of the teams have pressure since we're developing some great products, and we'll need great talent like yourself to help build the company even more. In your exit interview, please do note that you would have liked more feedback on expectations at ARM. We have lots of trust in our interns, but you also make the most of the internship, so network and always ask questions! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Pros

Work is genuinely on the cutting edge, and if you work well under pressure you will get plenty. There are a good number of very bright people in the company who it is a delight to work with. It looks like this is a great environment for graduates to get some experience.

Cons

The pace of expansion is meaning fewer people with a high level of understanding of their work, coupled with a higher degree of detailed task management. The burden of processes (badly implemented with outdated technology) seems to be increasing. It now seems quite rare to have a technical discussion with someone who understands anything in any depth - this wasn't the case only a couple of years ago. Despite the processes, there is loads of basic stuff being done in different ways by people coming new to a task, and no will for anyone to step back and set up a good standard way of working.

Pros

ARM takes great care of their employees. It is a laid back, open atmosphere, and I absolutely love working here.

Cons

The worst part about working at ARM has nothing to do with the company, but most people outside of tech don't know who we are, even though our tech is so pervasive.

Thanks for leaving a review! We're really happy to read that you're enjoying your internship with ARM, and hope to see you as a full time employee in one of our many Graduate positions once you have finished your studies. You're absolutely right that not many people outside of tech will know who we are, and we're hoping to change that! Social Media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and even Glassdoor are helping to raise ARM's brand awareness, but as we hire more and more staff, the hope is that they'll be proud to tell their friends and family what a great company ARM is to work for. -Rick C.
