      Deployments are to constant. Fewer deployments.

      Pros

      Great benefits, ability to earn a retirement while working part-time, good training opportunities, money for college, opportunities to travel, opportunity for leadership much earlier than most civilian jobs. Serve your country.

      Cons

      Units vary enormously in effectiveness - a good unit is fun and rewarding to work in; A poor unit can feel like a waste of time. Lots of extra time away from your family due to preparation for deployment, or actually being deployed.
