Pros

Fully remote Good pay and benefits 6 month reviews - opportunity for exponential career growth Open rein to try new things, new processes, and build so long as you have the A/B test data to backup your plan(s) and you own outcomes.

Cons

Two formal layoffs in 2023, hurt trust and culture. Struggles with ongoing voluntary attrition and poorly calibrated hiring process to backfill. Some are doing the work of 2-3 people, capacity is limited. No structure or general delegation of authority beyond the CEO. Conflicting environment, ostensibly trying to grow and scale to enterprise readiness while simultaneously accepting that a lack of structure will persist. Difficult to know who to trust.

Terrible Management and Toxic Culture

Pros

Work was fully remote and location-flexible

Cons

Array has had many layoffs the past year in 2023. All the negative reviews you read here are the truest reviews you can ever read about a terribly-managed start up. However, the good news is - if you are an inexperienced corporate employee, Array may want to keep you at a lowly paid salary. Many of my talented colleagues were laid off, but they decided to keep one individual on my team specifically because she didn't have much experience but was paid the lowest salary on the team. That's how Array makes money by keeping the poor quality, non-experienced employees. Not much room for career development and growth. They tend to keep you in a box. HR team is terrible as well - much like the other review who mentioned need to kiss up to Martin and his HR minions too.
