Pros

Cool coworkers who become great friends. Benefits were ok but not great.

Cons

Everyone in a leadership position is someone’s friend who has no real career experience or leadership experience. It shows. Strategy is erratic at best. Bad budget decisions that good employees end up paying the price for. Management comes off as fake and does not value their employees. Work environment does not cultivate growth or innovation, they want you to do what you’re told and not ask questions. Extreme micromanagement and egos.

They’ll hire your friends and you get bonus money from it?

Cons

Revolving door of accounts so you never get to really grow and you won’t get promoted easily as a result. No dividends for loyalty/hardwork. Your reward is more work for the same pay.

-Can fire you at any point “at will employment” -No work life balance -Expected to be on call 24/7 -Bonus metrics are based on KPI’s that YOU HAVE NEARLY ZERO CONTROL OVER.
