Pros

There was free breakfast and lunch on Monday/ Friday, but they took that away.

Cons

Work yourself to mental health hell culture. Go go go harder, faster. zero work life balance. This outdated culture is why so many people come in and out like a perpetually spinning wheel. What they don’t tell you in the recruiting process and training process is this is a 7-5 job. That is the minimum they can get away with on paper by law, but this is actually a 6am-11pm job, 7 days a week, for less pay than you can make almost anywhere else working far less, and you’re not allowed to use pto, or you’ll have to have a meeting as to why you’re taking a day off. Micromanaging, obsessing over metrics that ultimately don’t lead to sales. I’ve never worked harder and more for less money in my 15 years of work experience. I thought this was a good opportunity, but it’s really just a dead end where they seemingly structure the business to turn and burn workers like they’re tools at their disposal. This company is run on greed from the top, which in my opinion, will hinder the organic growth they’ve experienced in the past.

Pros

You can act like you are still in college

Cons

It’s a frat house. You have employees and managers dropping f bombs left and right while blasting music that drops the n word and f bomb every other word. They feed leads to the young reps who quickly become drinking buddies with management while ignoring their tenured reps who put in the time and effort to succeed. I once saw a rep with 4 months experience who was on his phone all morning get a $200 commission load handed to him by his manager while the reps who were grinding all morning were ignored. Arrive is trying to grow for the sake of growth. That means hiring wave upon wave of recent college grads during an already down market, which dilutes the already diminishing freight volume. This has caused numerous reps, myself included, to miss their quotas, which was cited as reason for termination. This was after they cut our commission four times in a seven month period. Arrive has made it clear; if you aren’t a recent college grad or willing to act like a frat bro, you aren’t welcome. They are doing what they can to get rid of their senior sales reps so they can nickel and dime these new kids whom are oblivious to the way the company previously operated.
