Pros

Good working environment, skilled team members and the management is open to introduce new technologies if you proved it has ROI and salaries are in USD not in local currency in Cairo.

Cons

As any other place to work, bad manger turns great job into a nightmare. Team leader doesn't believe in team's output and skills and always demotivates the team. Also the work-life balance is not completely fulfilled as responsibility is high, so you might find yourself working in weekends.

Devious and Incompetent Managers

Pros

Good pay, good office locations, and decent health insurance. Almost current technology and software used in most positions. Managers have lots of perks.

Cons

Devious, scheming, back-stabbing managers will throw employees under the bus to cover their own incompetence. Office politics are BRUTAL and pervasive. You WILL BE SPIED UPON in your phone and computer communications. You will NOT BE TRAINED. Expectations for your position will not be communicated to you, but you will be expected to have anticipated them and exceeded them. Managers change their objectives on an hourly basis. Gestapo-style HR department.
