      Collaborative culture, focus on sustainability, commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, multidisciplinary nature of project work, emphasis on internal development opportunities through mentorship and training, these are just a few of the many pros to joining Arup!

      Cons

      If you do not have an interest in the built environment and sustainability, Arup may not be the right fit for you.

      Pros

      I love working at Arup. Great projects. Company really cares about shaping a better world. Very low turnover, which means people stay a long time. Promotions are based on your development versus what roles are open at the company, which means less competition amongst coworkers and more collaboration and information sharing. Great benefits package (10% 401k Match for example).

      Cons

      Slow to change, slow to upgrade to 21st century.

      Arup's work is very meaningful. It has a huge impact on the built environment and on managing climate change and resiliency with a focus on environmental justice. The culture is very supportive, fair, and there is much opportunity for career growth.

      Cons

      The work is often at an intense pace, but that is never in conflict with quality.
