Their starting salary for grads is not all that competitive and you probably wont see a raise for 3 years

Difficult to progress up their career ladder without having the support of a senior management sponsor. UK staff blow ins with no US experience are fast tracked with promotions ahead of local engineers. There is no regard for staff who keep the business afloat doing the bread and butter of producing contract documents. There is more credit to given to staff who speak at conferences.
