Culture is great and there are many opportunities to excel. The work they do is always interesting and they only take the best jobs. It's a global company so there are many possibilities to move overseas if it's something that you'd like to do.

Cons

The environment is competitive and there are many intelligent people that may make it harder to progress in your career. If you want to succeed here you need to take up extra-curricular activities and do more than what is simply in your job description.

At Arup, you have the opportunity to work on the most amazing projects in the industry. The people are brilliant, your ideas are valued, and you feel like you can actually make a difference.

Cons

It's a big company, and there's a bit of bureaucracy in terms of promotions, staffing, paperwork, etc. The hours can be a bit tough at times too, but they ebb and flow.
