      Laid-back atmosphere, friendly co-workers, challenging/interesting work, flexibility

      Cons

      Often forced to wear many hats (as with all small companies). A lot of work in the run-up to a new academic year.

      Pros

      Relaxed work environment, very supportive co-workers and management team. Coming from a very corporate environment to this one, I appreciate the "small" atmosphere and the fact that everyone's voice is heard. We are treated as adults, and left to do our jobs in whatever way we see fit, within reason. There is NO micromanaging.

      Cons

      The transition to the more hands off leadership style may be challenging to some. (Though I appreciate it greatly.)

      A lot of potential but misses the ball.

      Pros

      Small but profitable niche industry. Co-workers were always friendly and courteous. Laid-back office environment.

      Cons

      Very reactive office culture. Small problems routinely went unaddressed, quickly growing in to large (unaddressed) problems. Passive-aggressive management style. Focus on quantity over quality. It's in Dexter, MI.
