Unlimited paid time off, Friday hours in the summer (3PM you're out), the people in Sales

Cons

There is no ownership of work/ projects, there is no communication from top down, the technology products are easily 5 years behind the market. There is no real growth potential or upward mobility in Sales.

Pros

Excellent benefits. Very good work/life balance kind of place. Dedicated, professional workforce that takes great pride in products and services offered. Lots of resources, technology, commitment to investing in business. Online training and development opportunities for employees. Very pleasant office building. Convenient location.

Cons

The dual headquarters part with Kansas City seemed problematic at times. Lots of competing business units. Can feel like you are working all the time - not unusual to get e-mails at evenings or weekends.

This company has a generous salary and benefit plan, a family friendly work environment, and employs many talented individuals. Location is convenient for commuting.

Cons

The past 2 years have seen multiple layoffs, reorganizations, "shuffling" of employees to roles that are not in sync with their talents. Focus on improving the bottom line via cutting staff, travel, professional development, product improvement, new product development = bad morale.
