Pros

Flexibility is the biggest pro of Ascend Learning. I do my work well and have never been questioned about using my unlimited PTO.

Cons

May 2024 the company started their re-org, which meant layoffs and that work being put on those still there. Chaos. Unhappiness. Confusion. Typical re-org feelings. Raises are 0-3% annually and bonus structure is 50% based on all brands hitting goal and 50% on your OKRs. At exceeded expectations/role model I only qualified for 60% of the 50% from my OKRs. Salaries are all over the place as well as competence. This isn’t marketing, it’s project management.

Leadership does nothing to help employees learn or advance. They are not held accountable for their actions or negative words to their team. They show no care or concern and do not assist their team or motivate them.
