Pros

Amazing people work at this company. It started out to be a small growing company who concentrated on living up to values for all employees regardless of what their position was with the company. You never felt invisible - you always felt appreciated and were rewarded for the hard work. Flexible working hours - you can do what you need to do to get the job done without micro management. Work at home thankfully so that helps manage extra cost of living increase we didn't get.

Cons

The leadership no longer lives up to the values. What once was the best company one could ask to work for, no longer exists. It is very sad that the leadership takes long term employees for granted. I make less money now than I did 3 years ago which is very frustrating. I haven't reduced my hours, in fact it is difficult to take any time off even though they say unlimited PTO. If you are not in the right group or work for the right manager, forget ever getting a spot bonus, gift card or any kind of extra recognition. When I first started working for Ascend, my manager recognized all my hard work by giving me a spot bonus from time to time with extra words of encouragement. Since my first manager left to go to another company and I was assigned a new manager, I have not received a spot bonus since. I work on project after project over and above my normal job duties and my manager says it is just part of my job. I hear from other employees who do get spot bonuses for extra work. There just is not any consistency in practices. I feel invisible.

Pros

the few nice people, not working weekends, getting a check

Cons

Not sure where to even begin.. this is by FAR the worst place I've ever worked... the mental drainage from this place will send you in a spiral... management was never available to help, team is bias and will talk behind your back, consistent tech issues and old age technology.. No one ever knows whats going on- constant changes in B2B when money is not being made, overworking staff and UNDERPAYING staff and will disguise it as "getting mire experience".. they tend to cross train almost everyone here so they dont have to hire more people, or pay the current more. Its a chaotic disaster, and not shocked if this place starts losing money to its competitors.

Pros

This establishment offers no advantages as a workplace. Regardless of the effort exerted or achievements attained, feedback consistently suggests that one's responsibilities have not been fulfilled satisfactorily.

Cons

Management suck's! The worst place to ever work.
