Pros

A fairly small so you get to know the people well. Constant breakdowns and plant issues so constant work.

Cons

Company just came out of bankruptcy with new private equity owners who are trying to strip and flip it. Years of lack of investment in the plant plus years of bad financial decisions from the exec level has it hemorrhaging cash which resulted in several rounds of significant site and company wide layoffs. Old timers are being packaged out. New CEO calls it “tightening the belt”.

Cons

Site is full of nepotism, employee theft and will be a Superfund site if the site every closes. Do not eat any fish or crab downstream of this site.
