Pros

It’s a growing company that is full of opportunities for advancement. They offer great competitive salaries. They offer excellent benefits. 401k match of 8%.

Cons

Processor leads are working leads so they are expected to work and job spot and manage a shift. Sometimes management is not very understanding of this and how much is expected.

Thank you for the candid feedback. We believe in investing in our leaders to ensure that every employee has a positive and consistent experience. Communication is most certainly key to that. Your post highlighted a lack of sharing of messaging about our strategy. We actually have a number of regular forums that bring employees together to hear about our business and our strategy. A few examples. - Quarterly town hall meetings led by our CEO who takes employees through our financial performance and our progress on major initiatives such as safety, our commercial growth and key “people” initiatives. These also include a guest member of our executive team who speaks on one of the key areas of our strategy. These meetings are recorded and available via our company Intranet for any employee to watch. - Friday huddle discussions. We established what we refer to as our “Friday huddle” about two years ago to ensure our employees felt connected to our strategy and our progress amid COVID. While many of our employees have since returned to the office, we continue to hold these sessions each week. There, employees hear directly from our CEO and have the opportunity to ask questions – any topics are open for discussion. - We also distribute an all-company message at the start of every week. These messages also discuss our performance, update employees on major company initiatives, and highlight the ways in which our people and our company are living our values. These are distributed to all employees. - These are just a few of the channels we’re using to listen and share information with our employees. - We want our employees – past and present – to have a positive experience with us. If you would like to discuss your experience and share any additional feedback, please feel free to contact me directly at ajahn@ascendmaterials.com - Thanks again for sharing.
