Pros

Most of the team is made up of genuinely amazing human beings that are smart, capable, willing to roll up their sleeves and just "make it happen".

Cons

CEO - I don't even know where to begin on this one. There's a tremendous amount of turn over at the leadership level and it's not due to COVID, it's the CEO. No one that disagrees with him in any way lasts very long, no professional or seasoned leaders have stayed for long. The CEO truly believes he knows better than anyone and everyone no matter the subject matter or discipline. In reality he's never held a senior leadership or management role of any kind, in any company prior to starting his own company. He is egomaniacal, duplicitous, and his default setting is passive-aggressive. He speaks about employees and leaders behind their backs to other leaders. He falls in and subsequently out of love with people, ideas and concepts with break-neck speed. Consistently "forgets" conversations and frequently reneges on decisions, and will not hesitate to throw anyone under the proverbial bus. Upon first meeting, he is charismatic enough to suck you in but once you peel back a layer or two on the onion and it's layer upon layer of stinky, rotten, crap. He's just not a good human being and has no idea how to lead. The "culture" is lip service all built by the amazing people they lure into joining with empty promises. The "values" are just dumb, self serving platitudes. There is little to no diversity & inclusion. It's a hyper masculine (I kid you not, the CEO "shadow-boxes" around the office showing video of his boxing matches - ALL THE TIME) , sales-centric, good ol' boys club on steroids. The only saving grace for the US team is that he's been in NZ for some time so the impact of his chaos has been felt less recently.

Pros

Great team of people, location, decent office

Cons

Worst SaaS job I’ve had, ceo is a narcissist and the worst person I’ve worked for. Hands down. Thinks he is a gift to the world and will pretend to listen to opinions but not take them into account ever thinking he knows better. Anybody who disagrees will quit or quietly attrit. Mediocre product. False marketing claiming to be the #1 CX platform (um cite your source). Overwork and underpay employees while feeding them lines about what a wonderful place to work it is. I could go on but I’ll stop there.
