Pros

A great place to grow as a young professional. Entrepreneurial environment, so you can take on new projects that other companies might not trust you with.

Cons

Management quality varies widely depending on what program you work with. Taking on new projects means you might overstretch yourself and there is little support for burnout. Shelf life is about 2 years for entry level positions. It’s a flat organization so finding growth paths can be difficult.

Pros

Good work environment and exposure to smart people. work experience very dependent on your program and boss, can vary widely across the institute.

Cons

No room for career advancement for junior staff. underpaid for the work we do. programs often feel siloed. cramped, crowded and noisy office space
