      Very few that any professional would desire

      Cons

      This company does not encourage property management as it should. Tell the client what they want to hear, show up at the HOA meetings, and drive through the managed area as little as possible. Property managers are spending more time working with vendors to receive kickbacks for work performed at the properties. I will be leaving soon for a better firm. Management is not capable of running a 7-11 franchise. Property managers only care about lining their pockets.

      Pros

      I enjoyed many of the people that I worked with but not all of them. My leader (CIO) was a narcissist and I'm still not sure how everyone doesn't else doesn't see this about him.

      Cons

      The pay was terrible. Benefits = terrible. I've never worked any place where a 2% raise was considered the standard for everyone across the board. This is by far the worst place I've ever worked in my life and I'm so glad I got out of there.

      1. Terrible raises. The typical raise per year is 2% for "regular" employees while c-levels get giant bonuses and increases. I've seen it with my own eyes. 2. The benefits are TERRIBLE especially if you have dependents. I don't know how anyone can afford to have a family on the benefits at Associa. 3. The executive team is messy and there is a lot of back stabbing and fighting amongst them. 4. They often tout the whole "we're family" thing. So outdated, toxic, and untrue. 5. This is the first place I've worked where the entire company didn't get at least a small bonus. You have to be at a certain level to even qualify (director and above I believe) and with only getting a 2% raise, you actually make less a year with inflation.
