Don't care about their employees

Pros

Have not found any the further into the company I get.

Cons

Systems are implemented and there is no backup. You call the person you are supposed to call for an answer and they haven't been trained. They want their managers to be managers and accountants. No one has the time in the day to do that. Managers are managers let them manage. Takes for ever to get anything done and the staff in Texas is all but useless. This is a relationship business and they have done every thing they can to remove the relationships. They preach customer service but in reality they have created an environment that does not allow for it and in fact penalizes you if you try to give it. There is zero customer service from Associa to the field.

Pros

You never have to look at the clock and count down til the end of the work day. You stay busy. The CEO is super friendly. He knows everyone in the office by first name. I love that! Vacation time allotment is great, they offer sick and personal time and the people in the office genuinely cares about you. Especially if you were out sick, they follow up and offer excellent advice.

Cons

No bonuses, health insurance takes 1/2 of your paycheck. Need to pay more for the work load given. Every time-off approval has to go through HR. If your manager says it is OK , why is HR so involved. They also do not offer over time. With the amount time sensitive work , they should at least offer a minimum of 5 hours OTper week if it is needed.

Challenging

Pros

There is plenty of work to do and lots of practice in doing it. You will learn and either walk away frustrated or with skills you can take with you elsewhere.

Cons

There isn't work-life balance in the corporate location. In the field offices the culture differs.
