Pros

I have worked at Associated Bank for over 15 years, having started as an intern in college. I have been given multiple opportunities to take on new opportunities in different areas of the organization, and assist with special projects that resulted in meaningful changes to the organization. These movements coupled with other development opportunities allowed me to grow quite significantly as a professional. With as much time as people spend at work, it is important to have a community of individuals whom you enjoy working with - in general, I love the people I work with and we have a great time.

Cons

The company is based in WI, but primary footprint also includes MN and IL; the company also has several remote locations in surrounding states. The geographic positioning allows branch colleagues to relocate branches if they move across the footprint which is great. Similarly, corporate support colleagues have flexibility in relocation but to a smaller extent which is a downside - support positions tend to be in Green Bay, Milwaukee, Stevens Point, and Chicago.

Pros

Great training, decent benefits. It was a great place to work the first two years I was there.

Cons

Ridiculous sick time policy, Only 3 occurrences in 12 month period, regardless of Doctors Notes, which is unrealistic if you have children that you might need to take time off to take care of as well.
