Pros

Excellent benefits package: 401k match, PTO, Sick Pay, and recent additions for Child Care and New Parents benefits. Internal Hiring very high

Cons

Company unable to take any time to train colleagues who are seeking any opportunity to excel and/or seeking promotion Company resorts to not hiring enough colleagues per branch resulting in remaining colleagues to pick up the slack with no increase in pay or PTO Company fails to review incoming outside applications despite managers notified of several applications for various positions Any region outside of the main HQ is treated as secondary especially in the further regions of the bank Bankers and Tellers maintain, varies by region, referral minimums, though the wording you get from Regional/District Managers and your Manager are not the same as corporate text in a manner to avoid any legal issues other banks have had in the past Requirement to cross-sell and refer to Associated partners is not as forced to colleagues who are favorites of the regional/district managers. (Mortgage/Investments/Credit Cards/Loans/etc.) Colleagues often are given numerous hats to wear on top of being short staffed and not educated properly on the new position they are operating with no additional pay Varies by manager, but there are times where you are required to stay past branch close for outward calling and some instances such as cold calling, though you use properly sourced company leads, majority of customers do not want to be called during dinner time for sales calls
