      Pros

      Associated Bank is values their employees as individuals and the culture is very welcoming and laid back.

      Cons

      They are far behind in technology which can lead to frustration if you're used to more modern systems at some of the other, larger bank.

      Pros

      Many great people are still working there, although their number is decreasing. The work/life balance is reasonable.

      Cons

      The work culture has become toxic. The executive leadership has worsened with new additions from larger national banks such as US Bank and BMO. The CEO is described as a dishonest or untrustworthy person. Every November, over 130 employees are let go to reduce costs, leading to increased work for the remaining employees. Additionally, the annual bonus for non-sales positions has been eliminated. Senior leadership lacks diversity, with white males holding over 90% of SVP positions.

      Pros

      Not only does Associated Bank take excellent care of its Customers, but it sincerely cares for every employee. We consistently have fantastic opportunities that I never have experienced with any of my 30 years of past employers.

      I have not noticed anything negative. Great job, Associated Bank!
