Pros

Benefits are ok, 4.5% match and pension.

Cons

Insurance plans are expensive, lots of turnover, a lack of care for customers has become the norm. Account requirement changes have soured a lot of long-standing relationships with good people that will now be charged for their accounts. Severe lack of sufficient communication from hiring teams to internal candidates.

Pros

It looks good on a resume that you had a job at a bank I suppose. That's it for pros.

Cons

Lies! They feed you lies on a daily basis. I suppose management believes them because they tell them daily. If they don't like you, don't expect a promotion. I was placed on disciplinary action because my manager had no legal grounds to fire me on and was hoping I would just quit. She even told me that (but said it was off the record so that made it ok...) this place is a joke. Management and HR was made aware of what was going on, but wrote me off as a disgruntled employee. Other employees had made complaints to HR and they did nothing. Another bank manager got away with numerous complaints of sexual harassment. This place is a joke and one of the worst places to work.

This used to be a great place to work for but things have gone way down hill.

Pros

Some managers are flexible with hours/appointments. Offers paid time off and sick time plus holiday pay for some holidays.

Cons

Little opportunity for advancement since new management has come on board. Any new/open positions go to someone from either Union Bank or M&I Bank and are hardly ever offered in Stevens Point anymore which just makes everyone believe they are trying to phase out the Stevens Point Service Center. Too much outsourcing to India. Not only are they letting people go and giving their job to someone in India but for those of us still here it's a nightmare working with them as communicating with them is difficult and they don't know what they are doing.
