Found engineering culture to be insular, non-transparent, micromanaging, surprisingly incompetent. In fairness to founders this seems only with new leadership acquired over last year.

The engineers in this company are top notch. They solve impossible problems with very little time. This makes Astera Labs such a unique workplace: a small company tackling large problems. Everyone is self-driven and self-motivated with a common goal. Despite how busy everyone is, everyone is friendly and approachable all the way up to the CEO. There's a lot of work to be done, which presents a lot of career opportunities!

Be careful not to take on too much or risk burning out as there's always work to be done.
