      Pros

      Astranis is a fairly new aerospace startup focusing on state of the art communication satellites. It's headquartered in San Francisco in the old Pier 70 shipbuilding factory - a wonderful place to work, within walking distance of the 22 Street Caltrain station Fully modern office with a steampunk vibe. The folks are super smart, and super supportive. Lots of work to do (it's a startup) but one of the friendliest places I've ever worked at.

      Cons

      There aren't many. Not the place to be if you don't like like a challenge.

      Pros

      The number of opportunities to learn new skills and make lasting impacts are innumerable. Co-workers are all incredibly committed and intellectually excellent. Founding DNA is balanced and diverse. Feedback is heavily sought-after, well-received, and expediently acted upon.

      Cons

      You can definitely make more cash elsewhere, but if you want to really make an impact and learn more than just technical skills, Astranis is the place to be. A ludicrous amount of trust and responsibility is given to all levels of engineers, which weighs heavily, but gives you an invaluable opportunity to discover how brightly you can shine!
