It all depends on who you work with and who your supervisor is.

Cons

Most people don't have tech experience and some don't even have a smart phone.

Pros

Cool people to work with

Cons

Used to have a startup environment and that changed very quickly but not for the better! People are generally good to work with and some manager and/or directors should not be in those roles.

Pros

-It's an easy job once you understand how everything works -Pays decent from the get-go -Some of the people are fun to work with -Free food at least 1-2 times a month

Cons

-Customers you talk to are either very rude, obnoxious, or downright dumb & it causes a lot of frustration to handle these on a daily basis. -Supervisors have no idea what they are doing most of the time. They are more like babysitters who stand around & talk 70% of the time w/o trying to help if you have a concern that needs to be addressed. -The trainings for the job are useless. You'll end up having to figure out 80% of the job on your own through trial & error. -Everything is stats. If one of your stats is lacking, you get yelled at to fix it. Once you fix it, you get yelled at for something else. There is no praise & it's just an endless circle of never catching a break. -They tell you if you need to take a minute to breathe in between taking phone calls, you can. When you do, you get yelled at because it's call avoidance. -Bathroom breaks are monitored closely. If I need to use the bathroom, I'm going to go, but according to Asurion, you are in violation of attendance if you take more than 6 minutes a day for "unscheduled" bathroom breaks. -There are certain things you have to do on every call no matter what. If you get caught not doing one of those things, you get written up because you forgot. It doesn't matter. They will flag you nonetheless. -Lastly, trying to get a different schedule is like pulling teeth. It's all based on tenure & they don't care what happens in your personal life. If you miss a certain amount of time because of something important that came up in your personal life, they don't care. They treat you just like a number. No more, no less.
