Pros

Flexible work hours. Training reasonably available. Pay is aggresive When projects go well, they go really well and have been rewarding. Great Culture -- On Paper

Cons

Pay is good but not worth losing sanity. Too many big ego, out of control employees. Leadership and HR unwilling to deal with difficult and divisive people.. Toxic Environment. Losses outweigh Wins There's a corporate group-think that it's a happy environment, but it's not. In Downtown Nashville, enough people are quick to find the happy hours after work. Culture is overall dismal: backbiting, gossip, name calling, often childish antics.

Pros

Working at home. That's about it.

Cons

Where to begin. You can't take bathroom breaks outside your 15 minute break for one thing. The work environment is horrible and the Supervisors are idiots in most cases. You will constantly be harassed via the chat during your shift, to the extent that it slows down your work. Metrics are reasonable but even if you meet or exceed the numbers you will constantly be harassed by Supervisors to get them even better, which is often impossible. Training will teach you all the "correct" ways to perform your job duties. Only to have each and every Supervisor advise you to perform your work in a completely different way. Supervisors will lie to you and make up any information they want in order to sway you to conform to their expectations. Entire work environment very inconsistent overall. The customers are also an absolute pain. The contract with asurion assures the customers get transferred several time before you get them so needless to say they are pretty irate at that point. Not to mention the other department lie and tell the customer what to expect when being transferred and make undeliverable promises for you to get cussed out about when you can't deliver. But the customers are really the least of your concerns at this company. The other issue here would be the tools on your pc. First off they NEVER seem to work properly. The more you reach out for assistance the more the Supervisor will insist its your internet connection. I am well educated in various IT areas and had to take this job solely because it is the only work at home I could get on short notice due to personal reasons. I know screwed up software when I see it. However the tools are not anything you can correct yourself due to the security measures in place to provide for information security, which is understandable. But overall the system is terrible. My performance metrics here are great but would be better if the tools to perform my job actually worked, and I can get some assistance when I reach out to a Supervisor for help. The Sup obviously will not know how to fix the issue but its a requirement in the chain of command-eque type process that is useless. Super visors are stupid druggies and High School dropouts that have no supervisor skills whatsoever.
