Pros

Steady shift, get to work from home, team chat rooms to get managers help. Get to help customers daily

Cons

Rude customers can make it very discouraging. Long waits in chat rooms to get help. Pay is very low. Managers sometimes not very helpful

Pros

Offers work-at-home position that preys primarily on underprivileged african-american single mothers.

Cons

Do not honor their commitments. Benefits after 60 days as promised? Nope, you have to kick and scream to get them (received my benefits after 122 days). Bi-yearly review as pitched in the interview process? Nope, after 2 months working for the company they informed us that it will now be yearly reviews, thus your opportunity for raises is prolonged. Human Resources department treats you like a nuisance when you contact them. Training is poorly organized; multiple trainers with conflicting protocols, yet the employee is reprimanded if they follow as instructed from previous trainer or supervisor. It is a low paying job but that is not really the gripe; you have to buy all of your own equipment that matches Asurion's specifications (in my case, $869 computer and monitor, plantronics phone $69, internet and phone service at $126 monthly plus a one time installation fee of $189). Also you will need additional software and virus protection $99/year. Their technical support team will not assist you with computer issues and accept zero responsibility... I just paid $265 to fix my computer to go back to work. When your net paycheck is $538, you simply cannot afford work here long term. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Pros

They are very flexible and work with your families issues if you have to leave or come in late.

Cons

They promote the favorites not the best for the job.
