      Almost three years of misreprentation from what was said in my job interview.

      Pros

      I can't think of any pros about this job. For three years my pending was almost double what I was told it would be in my job interview. My salary was cut by 5% in 2020 due to "Covid" yet in a quarterly call with the company the CEO noted that they maybe didn't need to cut salaries, but they never gave the money back. Of course the next quarterly call a VP had to clarify his answer and explain about balance sheets we need to show clients and that's why the salary was cut.

      Cons

      The workload is not manageable unless you're always working 60 hours a week or more. In the P&C side they are not fully staffed and most likely never will be by design.

      Pros

      They have manageable case loads and great work environment.

      Cons

      They do need to be more flexible with schedules. Their hours are pretty rigid and work from home is limited to 3 days a week. If they offered alternative work schedules it'd be a perfect place to work.

      Pros

      The company treats an views their employees as an asset. Athens offers fair compensation, great benefits and programs. Reasonable work loads. A HUMAN HR DEPARTMENT! Yes, there are Athens employees staffed in the HR department who are kind, knowledgeable and helpful, unlike most companies in my experience in which you are pushed off to computer program or various venders.

      Cons

      It is a small company but they are growing.
