Pros

The salary (while it lasted) was good. Good safety and diversity culture.

Cons

They hired me without a real substantive plan for assigning me enough billable work. They said the lack of billable work was due to the COVID-19 pandemic but that was just an excuse for not planning ahead.

Pros

Lots of good work and decent pay, but willingness to work and travel away from home is a must to make the most out of an early career at Atkins.

Cons

During the hiring process, they made a big point out of staying in one office, as opposite to other grad schemes that require you to rotate. However there is a fair amount of pressure to work away from the office on secondments.
