      Pros

      The local Denver leadership works hard to maintain strong office morale. The work is plentiful and the reputation of the company is strong.

      Cons

      Client-centered culture leads to constant crisis management to accommodate the client with their every request. Recent changes are taking the decision-making power from local offices and centralizing all processes resulting in project managers being able to control the finances of their projects less.

If you are going to hire for a niche role you better have a clue when the following applies: SME in contracts for multiple industries including regulated and non regulated Has experience in both commercial and government business CPCM Thirty two years of experience Has set up contracts for three corporations by the same C level and board of directors Has education and certifications specifically for this role Works high volume and budgets 27 million to 1.3 billion Has documented revenue and savings in the millions

      My worst job experience ever

      Pros

      The salary (while it lasted) was good. Good safety and diversity culture.

      Cons

      They hired me without a real substantive plan for assigning me enough billable work. They said the lack of billable work was due to the COVID-19 pandemic but that was just an excuse for not planning ahead.
