      Poor Training and Learning Environment

      Pros

      Flexible schedule. Friendly coworkers. You get some good experience with using Microstation.

      Cons

      If you’re an engineer out of college, this is not the best place to learn and develop. The project training and mentorship needs work. There were long gaps of no work. Paycuts and Layoffs immediately in the pandemic. You find yourself seeking out work.

      Pros

      Had a good atmosphere and good holidays. Sites run by the company were always very well maintained. Coworkers were friendly.

      Cons

      Ever since takeover by SNC Lavalin, the work culture went downhill. They restricted things like desktop backgrounds on work computers (and instituted new ones use either bad looking stock photos or one that literally had so much contrast it gave people headaches). despite the complaints of headaches, it took them weeks to change it. They were very restrictive on hours with no flexibility or with the CEO of Major Projects any hint of humanity.
